The Restaurant

La Torre di Gargonza restaurant is located outside the walls of the village and it was the former shed for agricultural machinery and carpentry.

In 2007 it was completely renovated with the windows of the new panoramic room and with a new laboratory for fresh pasta which is daily produced.

It is open both to guests of the Castle but also to those who do not stay in Gargonza. The internal hall accommodates 50/65 seats while the panoramic hall accommodates up to 190 seats.

In summer it is possible to eat outside in the courtyard, and the panoramic room enjoys a beautiful view in of the forest and the Chiana Valley.



The cuisine is authentic, made of simple and genuine ingredients personally chosen from the seasonal proposals.

During the season we also have a small vegetable garden which integrates our usual supply. Pasta is homemade and made daily, also meat, coming from local farms, is cooked on the grill.

The wines are those of the Arezzo Valley as well as those of Chianti Classico, Montalcino or Montepulciano and a selection of Tuscan and non-Tuscan cellars.

Since 2008, the restaurant is part of the Italian celiac association. We prepare gluten free fresh bread and schiacciata and serve fresh gluten-free pasta made by us directly. We are prepared and attentive to this particular need together with other intolerances or allergies to meet all the needs of our guests.
