Sleeping in a fortified village in Tuscany is is truly a magical and unforgettable experience. Our rooms have retained the charm and atmosphere of the farming community that once inhabited Gargonza but are equipped with every comfort and luxury. Each room, suite or apartment is located in a different building in the Borgo, and all accommodations have their own story to tell…

Upon arrival, you can check in at our reception office located in front of the medieval tower inside the village where you will be welcomed by our staff.

Breakfast is located in the old olive press room In the warm season it will be possible to stay in the garden in front of the Frantoio with a view of a restful wood. The breakfast is buffet style with homemade cakes, warm croissants and various types of bread. The buffet is completed by a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, eggs on request, and fruit. We are also equipped for lactose intolerances and celiac disease as we are part of the AIC Alimentation Outside the Home circuit.

Our guests can also use the swimming pool and the restaurant “La Torre di Gargonza” which are located outside the village.

Inside the village we also have available our bar and living area with our lemon garden. From Gargonza it will be possible to make excursions to the historic Val di Chiana villages including Monte San Savino and Lucignano as well as the art cities of Arezzo and Siena which are easily reachable from the Gargonza Castle

The rooms are located inside various buildings within the village. There are 13 buildings which maintain their authentic structure and original atmosphere thanks to a careful restoration process.. The comforts are modern while the atmosphere retains the feel of a long ago.

There are three types of accommodations;

comfort, classic, and superior, housing from one to four guests in utmost comfort.
