Castello di Gargonza is located in Tuscany, in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. We are located between Arezzo and Siena and at 11 km from the highway exit which connects Florence to Rome.
Gargonza was a fortified medieval village with a thirteen century tower and was transformed in the eighteen century into a farm. After 250 years of farming, after World War II all farmers left the village to seek more prosperous life in the growing cities.
Our family owns the village since the seventeen century and we started, at the end of the sixties, the restoration of the village with the goal bringing it back to life.
Today Gargonza offers accommodation for 100 people in our rooms and apartments, once lived by the former inhabitants of the village. We offer B&B accommodation with every day cleaning. Breakfast is served inside the village in one of our common areas or in the garden just outside the breakfast room.
The olive mill was converted into a conference space, the cellars and stables into smaller meeting areas also suitable for indoor experiential training sessions. Today we can hold meetings inside our large meeting area which can hold up to 120 people or take advantage of our smaller meeting areas for separate meetings of the same company. We have restaurant open every day and we can cater for lunch and dinner, organize special dinners like typical Tuscan buffet’s, pizza nights or more formal gala dinners. It is also ideal as an award ceremony venue.
Gargonza is ideal for company retreats and teambuilding activities using the swimming pool outside the village, the open spaces in the premises of the village or the 1800 acres of forest for MTB, orienteering activities, ebike tours.
