Sleeping in a fortified village in Tuscany is truly a magical and unforgettable experience. Our suites have retained the charm and atmosphere of the peasant community that once inhabited Gargonza but are equipped with every comfort and luxury. Each accommodation is located in a different building of the Borgo and all the accommodations have their own story to tell…

Upon arrival, you will check in at the reception, located in the center of the village in the room that was once used to store the harvested grain. From there we will take you to your accommodations entering the heart of the village of Gargonza.

Breakfast is served at the Frantoio di sotto. In the warm season it will be possible to stay in the garden in front of the Frantoio with a view of a restful wood. Breakfast is a buffet with homemade cakes, warm croissants and various types of bread. The buffet is completed by a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, eggs on request, and fruit. We are also equipped for lactose intolerances and celiac disease as we are part of the AIC Alimentation Outside the Home circuit.

You will also have at your disposal the panoramic swimming pool and the restaurant “La Torre di Gargonza”, located outside the walls as well as a bar point right in the pool area where you can sip a fresh drink or eat a snack prepared by our Chefs!

In the summer, our Bottega di Gargonza is open in the central square of the village, offering a series of cocktails for aperitifs and DOC wines from the area.

From Gargonza it will be possible to make excursions to the historic villages of Val di Chiana, including Monte San Savino and Lucignano as well as the art cities of Arezzo and Siena which are easily reachable from the Gargonza Castle.
